Terralgal is a line of organic, microalgae-based biostimulants and fertilizers developed by Particula Group d.o.o. in Marinići, Croatia. Built on microalgae and nitrogen-fixing bacteria with microbial extracts, Terralgal feeds the soil rhizosphere rather than the plant, improving enzymatic and biological soil activity, increasing the availability of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK), capturing carbon, and strengthening beneficial soil microbes. The result is higher yield and crop quality, stronger roots and leaves, greater resistance to abiotic stress such as drought, salinity, heat and heavy metals, and a reduced need for chemical pesticides.
The product range covers every stage of plant growth: Terralgal Balance (a plant–root–soil biostimulant for the rhizosphere), Terralgal Nutri Plus (a micronutrient blend of Manganese, Boron and Zinc for seed and fruit formation), Terralgal Growth (with Boron for flowering, pollination and fruit set), Terralgal Boost (with Manganese and Zinc for chlorophyll production and maximum yield), and Terralgal Active Concentrate (a custom blend with seaweed extracts of Ascophyllum nodosum and Laminaria digitata and microbial colonies of Rhizobium, Pseudomonas and Bacillus). All products are made from organically grown microalgae cultivated in a third-generation biorefinery and are certified organic under EU Regulation 2018/848 (control body HR-EKO-03).
Field trials by partner farms in Croatia have recorded yield increases of 10% to 30% across blueberries, grapevine, tomatoes, sunflower, watermelon and industrial hemp, depending on the crop and Terralgal product used.
